Rosenbauer America, a leader in firefighting technology and equipment, announced a significant capital investment in its campus in the city of Wyoming, Minnesota, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to increasing production capacity, enhancing customer support, and preparing for continued growth in the fire apparatus market. Strategic planning for this expansion began in early 2025 as Rosenbauer America evaluated long-term capacity needs and customer demand trends. The $25 million investment is set to begin in 2026. It will expand operational space, improve workflow, and support the growing needs of fire departments across North America.

The Minnesota campus enhancements are designed to strengthen Rosenbauer America’s ability to deliver high-quality apparatus with greater consistency, speed, and e?ciency. The investment includes:

  • The development of a new purpose-built facility that will consolidate several critical teams under one roof, including the Service Department, Parts Department, Training Department, and final build teams. This facility will dramatically improve service coordination and customer support capabilities.
  • Significant expansion of Rosenbauer America’s parts warehouse, to enhance materials management, streamline production flow, and support future growth in apparatus demand.
  • Doubling the Minnesota campus test pit from two bays to four, a critical upgrade that will significantly improve workflow speed during final apparatus validation and enables Rosenbauer America to move more units through final testing with greater e?ciency, ultimately supporting improved delivery timelines and customer satisfaction.

“This expansion strengthens our production capabilities and positions Rosenbauer America to meet the evolving demands of fire departments with even greater precision and e?ciency,” said Sven Lindenfelser, Chief Operations O?cer, Rosenbauer America. “By investing in our Minnesota campus, we are investing in the customers who rely on Rosenbauer equipment every day. These enhancements ensure we can continue delivering the high-quality apparatus and support they expect—both now and well into the future.”

Construction across the Minnesota campus is scheduled to begin in 2026, with all new facilities expected to be operational in late 2027. As the expansion comes online, Rosenbauer America anticipates job growth across its service and parts teams to support the increased capacity and customer service opportunities.
